Newborn Session Details
Newborn sessions only include the one child listed at sign up. Parents and siblings can be included at the end of the session if baby is still content. A $300 retainer of the session fee is due at the time of booking and is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due the day of the session.
All newborn sessions are held in my studio in Mableton, GA (about 15 minute west of downtown Atlanta), which allows us to have access to my extensive prop collection. Newborns are best photographed between 5-10 days old; I usually do not photograph newborns older than 14 days but rules are made to be broken :)
In addition to what is included in your newborn session, I also offer a variety of portrait options, canvases, and albums that you will have an opportunity to decide on during the viewing/ordering session.
Before the session
Please try to keep your baby awake for a long period of time (I suggest at least 45 minutes to an hour.) Try changing the baby, giving them a sponge bath, just whatever it takes =) Dress your baby in clothing that is easy to remove such as a button front outfit or simply a diaper wrapped in a blanket.
During the Session
Newborn sessions normally last up to 2 hours. This is to allow time for feeding and soothing the baby. The session is very relaxed and comfortable. Feel free to bring a book or address thank you cards, whatever you may need to do and I will work my magic on your baby. :-) Because the sound and smell of mommy nearby tends to make newborns fussy and hungry, it’s best if I spend a while with baby while you take a break. During the session you will also decide which item you’d like to include in your newborn session; The Digital Collection, Custom Heirloom box with 5x7 prints, or 10x10 Classic Album
After the Session
Your in-person Viewing/Ordering session will take place at Crystal Clear Photography studio approximately two weeks after your session and will last about one hour. During this session, you will have the opportunity to view your portraits and order any additional items. You will also receive your original selection at this session. Please bring all decision makers to the in-person viewing/ordering session, as it will be only opportunity to place your order. If you need an additional ordering session, the fee is $200.
Once your order is placed, prints/products will be available for pick up between 2-3 weeks for the order date. Rush options are available.
Micro Maternity Session Details
Maternity sessions include mommy and dad only (siblings can be included for an additional $100 fee as it will usually add 30 minutes onto the session). The maternity session is 30 minutes and includes one backdrop and two outfit changes. Fifty percent (50%) of the session fee is due at the time of booking and is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due the day of the session.

Watch Me Grown Details
The Watch Me Grown sessions only include the one child listed at sign up. Parents and siblings may be included at the end of the session if baby is still content. 25% percent ($462.50) of the session fee is due at the time of scheduling and is non-refundable. The remaining balance is $1387.50 and is due in 25% increments. 25% ($462.50) is due at the beginning of the Newborn session, Sitting session and Birthday session.
Although you are more than welcome to do so, you will never have to bring any clothes and/or props to your sessions because I have quite the collection for your sessions.
Newborn Session (3-10 days old)
Newborn sessions typically take place at about 7-12 days of age. This is the perfect time, when baby is still really sleepy. The session only covers the newborn being photographed. Parents/siblings can be added by request but will only be included at the end of the session if the newborn is still peaceful.
Sitting Session (6-7 months)
Sitting sessions are a LOT of fun! It’s best to wait until baby can sit up on his/her own for this one, even if we have to wait closer to the 8 months mark. That way we capture the beautiful milestone shots with baby’s newest talent. At this age, babies can hold things and may develop an attachment to a special lovey, so bringing along a favorite blanket or toy is a great idea. We’ll also use some props like cute hats for the boys, and rompers and jewelry for girls, among other goodies (all of which I provide).
ONE Year Session (11-13 months)
It’s here! Baby’s first year seems to have gone by so quickly when you look back. The great news is, now that your year is complete, you will have beautiful keepsakes to remember, forever, this priceless, frustrating, amazing, exhausting, and beautiful first year! A lot of parents like to bring along a personalized cake to do a cake smash at the end of the session. If you bring a cake, please bring along a change of clothes for your little one because we will certainly be pretty messy afterwards :)
